Dottie began serving on the Board this past January; but, her history with OATS began as a rider just three years ago. She then began volunteering as a “contact”, taking calls in her home from OATS passengers needing to schedule a ride. Dottie says she’s proud of the way the Clay County drivers and volunteers have worked over the past few years to increase ridership in their community. “We all work together to make a difference. The Excelsior Springs group is fantastic – we go out and have fun. That’s just what we do! We all work together to make it easier for people who need help, and we make it an enjoyable time as we go.”
