OATS, Inc. congratulates the following associates in their continued pursuit of growth and excellence.
Kim Wood, Human Resources Manager, has earned new certification as a Professional in Human Resources by the HR Certification Institute. This certification signifies Kim’s mastery of the theoretical knowledge and practical experience in human resource management necessary to pass a rigorous examination. The HR Certification Institute is the credentialing body for human resource professionals and is affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), the world's largest organization dedicated exclusively to the human resource profession.
Accounting Supervisor, Susie Melloway, has recently completed a course of study with the Community Transportation Association of America (CTAA) in which she passed a rigorous, professional, national exam and has become a Certified Community Transportation Manager (CCTM). According to the CTAA, “CCTM status marks the greatest performance and highest efficiency in the community transportation industry; it is proof of the ability to manage a comprehensive and dynamic community transportation system.”
Katie Kelly, Safety Manager and CCTM, has just become a Certified Training and Safety Reviewer (CTSAR). This program serves as a protocol for on-site reviews of transit systems to certify they are addressing the critical components of a safety and security program, including all the Core Elements of the Federal Transit Administration's Model Transit Bus Safety and Security Program. The program is designed to help the transportation organization build its internal team, safely serve its customers, fulfill its responsibilities in maintaining community security, and reduce its exposure to liability.
