 OATS Driver


Driving Staff 

OATS frequently has a need for full- and/or part-time driving staff.  Drivers are an integral part of OATS operations.  Without caring drivers who safely and efficiently transport our riders to their destination, OATS would not be able to operate. 

 

 

We have an immediate need for drivers in the following communities:

West Region: Drivers needed in Platte County – Smithville, North Kansas City area and Blue Springs. Also, Drivers are needed in Lee’s Summit and Independence. Contact Sara for more information.  

Midwest Region: We need drivers for the St Clair/Henry/Bates County area and a late night run (until 2 a.m.) in Johnson County. We also need a driver in Nevada, preferably a resident of Nevada but must be a resident of Vernon County. Contact Tracy for more information.

Southwest Region: Drivers needed in the Marshfield area in Webster Co. and the Aurora, Verona & Monett areas in Barry/Lawrence Counties. Contact Jeff for more information.

To be an OATS driver, you must:

  • Take and pass a U. S. Dept. of Transportation physical.
  • Take and pass U. S. Dept. of Transportation road test.
  • Have a current Missouri Chauffeurs license (Class E or Commercial Drivers License) with no more than four (4) points assessed.
  • Have basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
  • Be a minimum of 25 years of age.
  • Be eligible for bonding.
  • Take and pass a drug screening test prior to driving a vehicle and undergo drug and alcohol testing randomly throughout employment.
