Edna Foster, Northwest Region

Newly elected, Mrs. Foster was sworn in at the January 24, 2012 Board Meeting. Edna has served on the Grundy County OATS Support Committee for eleven years and has accepted a variety of employment opportunities over her lifetime, but her focus has always been in the fields of service and health care. Currently serving as the RSVP Director for Grundy County, Edna helps provide meaningful volunteer opportunities for individuals who are 55 years and older. Her involvement with OATS stems from her awareness of the great need for transportation by the people OATS serves, and she looks forward to helping efforts to ensure that transportation assistance is kept in Missouri. With her experience within the field of service, Edna brings much value to the board position. She is dedicated to her board service and says she will work hard to represent the people in her region. Edna and her husband have shared in the happiness of raising two children and are now blessed with three grandchildren. She also enjoys reading, cross-stitching and embroidering during her spare time.
