Southwest Missouri to Springfield Intercity Express

Listed below is the transportation schedule for the Southwest Missouri to Springfield Intercity Express.

Fares are located at the bottom of the page.

Routine transportation to Springfield is available for the specified weekdays. Reservations must be made at least 2 days in advance. Schedule your appointments in Springfield between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. (or no later than 1:30 p.m. if expected to last longer than 45 minutes).

 

Pickup points have been established along the route; however, the bus will go off route up to 3 miles. The pickup and drop-off locations will be at the curb. Fares are $10 for round trip and $6 for one-way. To schedule a ride, call the OATS Transit office at (800) 770-6287 or (471) 887-9272, Monday - Friday between 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. We do not schedule by email.

Round-trip from McDonald/Newton Counties (originating in Jane to Pineville area)  to Joplin every Wednesday along the I-49 corridor including communities of Pineville, Anderson, Goodman, and Neosho

​Round-trip from Newton and Barry Counties (originating in Neosho to Monett area) to Springfield every Wednesday along the old Hwy 60 corridor, including the communities of Granby, Newtonia, Monett, Aurora, Marionville, Billings, and Republic.

​​Round-trip from Stone County (originating in Lampe to Kimberling City area) to Springfield every other Tuesday, along Hwy 13/160 corridor, including communities of Kimberling City, Branson West, Reeds Spring, Spokane, Highlandville, and Nixa. â€‹â€‹

 

Round-trip from Northern Stone County (originating in Crane) to Branson every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday along Hwy 413/76 corridor, including Elsey, Galena, Reeds Spring, and Branson West.

Round-trip from Southern Stone County (originating in Blue Eye) to Branson every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday along Hwy 13/76 corridor, including the communities of Lampe, Kimberling City, and Branson West. â€‹ â€‹

 

Round-trip from Taney County (originating in Hollister to Branson area) to Springfield every other Tuesday, along Hwy 65 corridor, including communities of Branson, Bull Creek, Walnut Shade, Saddlebrooke, E. Highlandville and Ozark. 

 

​Round-trip from Wright County (originating in Mountain Grove area) to Springfield every other Wednesday, along Hwy 60 corridor, including communities of Norwood, Macomb, Mansfield, Seymour, and Rogersville.

Fares (one way):

  • In-town Springfield: $2.00 

  • In-town rural communities: $2.00

  • In-county: $3.00

  • Adjacent County: $4.00

  • Long-Distance (three counties or more): $6.00

  • Each additional en route stop: $1.00

 

*Drivers no longer accept payment from riders on the bus. Riders can add funds to their account before riding and each time they ride the fare will be withdrawn.  When calling to add funds to your account a minimum amount of $10.00 is required. You can send a personal check, money order, or cashier’s check to the OATS Transit office if you do not want to pay by credit/debit card.

​Seniors age 60+ and individuals  with disabilities  riding under AAA contract do not have a set fare, but are asked to contribute a minimum amount for their rides. OATS Transit will provide contact information for riders to contribute directly to the applicable AAA.  Space on any scheduled route is limited depending on passenger load, locations, trip purpose, and funding. Priority may be given for scheduled doctor appointments and dialysis.
