Listed below is the transportation schedule for Stone County.

Fares are listed at the bottom of the page.

To Springfield: 

  • 2nd Monday of each month

 

To Branson: 

  • 1st Monday of each month

 

To Branson West

From Crane, Galena, Cape Fair, and Reeds Spring:

  • 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month

From Reeds Spring, Kimberling City, Blue Eye, and Lampe:

  • 2nd Thursday of each month

Shell Knob Area:

  •  Tuesdays and Thursdays (4th Thursday to Cassville).           

North Stone County/Nixa Employment Transportation: 

  • Monday – Friday                                          

South Stone County/Branson area Employment Transportation: 

  • Monday – Friday   

Long-distance transportation is also available from Stone County to Springfield, including Springfield-Branson Regional Airport, Greyhound Bus, and City Utilities Bus Depots, via the Weekly Express every other Tuesday each month. Trips must be scheduled 48 hours in advance by calling the OATS Transit Office at 1-800-770-6287.

 

General transportation is also available from North Stone County along the MO-413 corridor and from South Stone County along the MO-13 corridor via the Express every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to the Branson area. Trips must be scheduled 48 hours in advance by calling the OATS Transit office at 1-800-770-6287.

Fares (one way):

  • In-town Springfield: $2.00

  • In-town rural communities: $2.00

  • In-county: $3.00

  • Adjacent County: $4.00

  • Long-Distance (three counties or more): $6.00

  • Each additional enroute stop: $1.00 

 

Seniors age 60+ and individuals with disabilities riding under AAA contract do not have a set fare, but are asked to contribute a minimum amount for their rides. OATS Transit will provide contact information for riders to contribute directly to the applicable AAA.  Space on any scheduled route is limited depending on passenger load, locations, trip purpose, and funding. Priority may be given for scheduled doctor appointments and dialysis. 

*Drivers no longer accept payment from riders on the bus. Riders can add funds to their account before riding and each time they ride the fare will be withdrawn.  When calling to add funds to your account a minimum amount of $10.00 is required. You can send a personal check, money order, or cashier’s check to the OATS Transit office if you do not want to pay by credit/debit card.
