Lafayette County 

OATS Transit is available to anyone regardless of age, income,

disability, race, gender, religion, or national origin.

Calls must be made at least 24 hours in advance. 

Listed below is the transportation schedule for Lafayette County.

Service to Kansas City:

  • 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month

 

Service to Warrensburg: 

  • 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month

Concordia Senior Center

(bus will travel within 10 miles of the city limits)

  • Tuesday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

  • Friday (Medical/Business): 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

 

Odessa Senior Center

(bus will travel within 10 miles of the city limits)

  • Tuesday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

  • Monday & Friday (Medical/Business): 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Lexington Senior Center

(bus will travel within 10 miles of the city limits)

  • Tuesday - Thursday: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. 

  • Monday & Friday (Medical/Business): 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Higginsville Senior Center

(bus will travel within 10 miles of the city limits)

  • Tuesday - Thursday: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 

  • Monday & Friday (Medical/Business): 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

​Fares (one-way):

  • $2.50 or in-town riders

  • $5.00 for county service

 

Fares apply to general public riders; those age 60 and older and/or with disabilities who ride under the AAA contract do not have a set fare but are asked to make a contribution for their ride.

​

Drivers no longer accept payment from riders on the bus. Riders can add funds to their account before riding and each time they ride the fare will be withdrawn.  When calling to add funds to your account a minimum amount of $10.00 is required. You can send a personal check, money order, or cashier’s check to the OATS Transit office if you do not want to pay by credit/debit card
