Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance and appointments should be made

between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Listed below is the transportation schedule for the Northwest Missouri

to St. Joseph & Kansas City Intercity Express.

 

Transportation to Kansas City (Tuesdays each month) and St. Joseph (three days per month) is available to people living in certain Northwest region counties. This is a routine service with priority given to medical trips. Pickup points have been established along the routes; however, the bus will go off route up to 5 miles. 

 

Service to St. Joseph:

 

Service along Highway 6, 65 and 36 from Galt to Trenton to Chillicothe to Hamilton to Cameron to St. Joseph:

• 1st Friday each month 

 

Service along Highway 6, 13, I-35 and 36 from Trenton to Bethany to St. Joseph:

• 2nd Friday each month

 

Service along Highway 6, 13 and 36 from Galt to Trenton to Gallatin to Cameron to St. Joseph:

• 3rd Friday each month

 

 

Service to Kansas City:

Service along Highway 6, 65 and 36 from Galt to Trenton to Chillicothe to Hamilton to Cameron to Kansas City:

• Tuesdays each month

Fares For InterCity Service:

• $10.00 round trip

 

Drivers no longer accept payment from riders on the bus. Riders can add funds to their account before riding and each time they ride the fare will be withdrawn.  When calling to add funds to your account a minimum amount of $10.00 is required. You can send a personal check, money order, or cashier’s check to the OATS Transit office if you do not want to pay by credit/debit card.​
