Harrisonville MO Service to Resume October 1, 2025

(Harrisonville, Missouri, September 12, 2025) – OATS Transit is pleased to announce it will begin city service for residents within the city limits of Harrisonville MO starting October 1^st. OATS Transit service is available to anyone of any age in Harrisonville MO.

The service will run Monday thru Friday, 9am to 2pm, within the city limits. Trip requests must be made 24 hours in advance by calling 800-480-6287. The fare is $2 each way. Drivers do not handle cash payments from riders. Instead, riders can add funds to their account in advance, and fares are withdrawn each time a rider boards the bus. Funds can be added at the time of booking trips and requires a minimum of $10 added at a time.

“We are pleased to resume service in Harrisonville now that we have sufficient driver support in place” said Beth Langley, OATS Transit Regional Director. “We have been working to reestablish it, along with securing the necessary funding, and the timing finally aligned” added Langley.
