Patty Robinson Celebrates 25 Years with OATS Transit

(Hannibal, Missouri, September 9, 2024) – Patty Robinson of Hannibal, MO, is being honored by OATS Transit for 25 years of service with the company this week. OATS Transit is a nonprofit transportation provider that serves much of the state of Missouri. Patty started with the company on September 24, 1999, and has been a part of our Northeast Missouri operations ever since that time, driving in and around Marion County.

“If 25 years doesn’t prove Patty loves her job, then her unwavering enthusiasm does”, said Sheree Webb, OATS Transit Northeast MO Regional Director.  “Day in and day out, she works hard to see that each of her riders has a safe and enjoyable trip,” added Webb.

On September 5, 2024, Patty and some of her fellow drivers were also recognized by the Missouri Public Transit Association with Transit Champions Awards at their conference in St Louis.  OATS Transit provides 899,000 trips annually in Missouri; the northeast region makes up 14% of our overall service. As the largest rural transportation provider in the United States, the company specializes in serving the rural general public of any age. Transportation includes trips to work, medical and dialysis appointments, shopping, business errands, and other contracted services.
