OATS Transit Announces Change in Fares for Lees Summit MO

(Harrisonville, MO January 30, 2024) OATS Transit has announced a fare change for residents in Lees Summit Missouri. Effective March 1, 2024, fares for service will increase to $3 each stop.

Rider fares help us maintain current levels of service and directly impact the company’s operating budget.  Fares are being increased to $3.00 each stop in Lees Summit. Transportation is open to anyone of any age and is for trips inside the city limits. Service is available Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Anyone wishing to make a public comment on the fare increases, please visit our website at www.oatstransit.org/leessummitfares to submit your comments by February 7, 2024.

As a reminder, drivers do not handle cash payments from riders. Instead, riders can add funds to their account in advance, and fares are withdrawn each time a rider boards the bus. Riders can add funds to their account, which requires a minimum of $10 each time. Residents wanting to schedule rides should call the local office at 816-380-7433.
